What the Heck is Sunday Punday?
In October 2019, I pledged to draw a pun every single Sunday for 52 weeks. This personal challenge was created to help me become a better illustrator, but to also encourage me to make more things on a regular basis.
As the months progressed, Sunday Punday began to get more traction than anticipated. My puns were featured in design blogs, and companies such as Dribbble and Casetify inquired about partnerships and guest curations. Eventually, Sunday Punday shifted from just a weekly drawing prompt to an outlet for me to create work that brought people joy. This challenge shaped my design style, voice, and career in more ways than anticipated, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my work with the world.
