About the project:
Inphlu is an online platform that allows employees to become brand ambassadors on social media to help boost marketing, sales, and recruiting efforts. Individuals can easily find, share, and schedule posts for their personal or company social media accounts. The product uses generative AI to help source and create custom content to reach a variety of audiences.
The Inphlu team reached out to us to overhaul their current aesthetic and create an interface that is simple and easy to use. They also wanted to implement a gamification aspect to increase user engagement through incentives and badges.
Before designing this project, I spent a lot of time using the existing platform to better understand how it could be improved. I quickly found that the user experience was extremely clunky and there were a lot of redundant or unnecessary pages. In my original wireframe below, I initially left the original navigation framework, but as I continued to work through the UX, I found that the product could be more streamlined and efficient with just 5 main pages–Overview, Leaderboard, Dashboards, Storyboard, and Post Calendar. Users can now quickly generate, create, and share posts, view personal and company analytics, and see how their achievements stack up to other members of their organization. The new interface eliminates important content and functionality from being buried or hidden.
This project was design-only so in addition to creating 60+ desktop and mobile screens, I also created a full design system to pass on to the team of front-end devs.
