About the project:
Bowman & Landes is a locally owned farm raising the highest quality free-range turkeys for 4 generations. They came to us needing a new custom ecommerce website and also overhauling their online ordering platform. The site features a vintage grocery aesthetic to elevate the heritage of the brand.
For this project, I spent a lot of time researching what makes an online store successful. While this site offers online ordering, customers can select whether they want their orders delivered or curbside pickup. The tricky part is that not all products can be delivered and not all products are available for curbside pickup. The solution was to offer a modal that pops up the first time a user selects the product page. From there, products are filtered based on whether pickup or delivery was selected.
In addition to a new site, we were tasked with creating a new interface and experience for Bowman & Landes' internal order portal. The portal features a queue of upcoming online orders and whether or not they are still being processed or fulfilled. The portal also has the functionality to add a new order to make updates to existing orders.
